St Mary and All Saints, Willingham
Willingham’s church holds two exceptional pieces of medieval craft. Over the nave runs a double hammerbeam roof carved with angels, some bearing shields and others musical instruments; off the chancel stands a small 14th-century chapel roofed entirely in stone, its high vault carried on slender arches — a rare survival. Usually open by day, below a spiky landmark spire on the fen edge.
