Known as the ‘cathedral of the marsh’, St George’s at Ivychurch is a big, light Perpendicular church that towers over a hamlet of just a few houses. It was largely rebuilt in the 14th century and has a wide, airy interior. Usually open daily. Appledore station is about 6km to the north-west.
