St Clement’s at Old Romney is one of the prettiest of the marsh churches, with a sloping brick floor and Georgian box pews painted a soft pink. It stood in for the parish church in Disney’s 1963 film Dr Syn, Alias the Scarecrow. Usually open daily. Appledore station is about 7km to the north-west.
