A medieval church in the Rhymney Valley, dedicated to St Cattwg (Cadoc), whose early monastic community was based here. It holds several early Christian inscribed stones, and a Roman fort once stood close by on the ridge above. A quietly historic spot away from the main valley towns. Open to visitors; Pengam station is about 2km down the hill.
