All Saints stands beside the green at Willian, a flint and ironstone church whose nave and chancel go back to the early 1100s. The tower was added around 1430 and carries some of the finest gargoyles in Hertfordshire. It’s open to look round, and The Fox is right by the green for lunch. Letchworth Garden City station is a couple of kilometres north.
