Abernethy Church sits at Nethy Bridge, on the edge of the ancient Caledonian pinewoods that give the area its name. It’s the village parish kirk, with an old kirkyard running down towards the Spey. Usually open for services or by arrangement rather than day to day. Carrbridge is the nearest station, about 11km to the west.
