Britain’s only free-ranging reindeer herd lives up on the Cairngorms above Glenmore, and the centre runs guided Hill Trips out to meet them in their own surroundings. Trips go most days but are weather-dependent in winter, and since the herd roams wild they occasionally take some finding, so book ahead. There’s a paddock too, open from Easter to the end of the year.
