A riverside Aviemore institution down by the Spey, with a log fire, a big whisky selection and regular folk music. It’s tucked away from the main drag near the old bridge, which gives it a cosier feel than the hotels in the centre, and the food has a good reputation. A cracking place to end a day in the Cairngorms, and only a short walk from the station.
