A friendly village pub in Carrbridge with a coal fire going, cask ales on and a garden dropping down to the River Dulnain. It’s a short walk from the famous old packhorse bridge, and makes an easy Cairngorms base a few minutes from the station. Just the sort of spot for a pint and a plate of food after a day out on the hills.
