Col-huw, the beach below Llantwit Major, is a pebble-and-rock foreshore under crumbling lias cliffs on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, reached down a valley from the town about a mile away. Low tide opens up sand and rock pools. The cliffs are prone to falls, so keep clear of the base. There’s a car park at the beach end of the valley, and Llantwit Major station is roughly two kilometres inland.
