Port Eynon shelters behind a sandy bay at the south-west corner of Gower, once busy with oyster boats and limestone quarrying. A ruined salt house and the odd rock-cut Culver Hole lie along the headland to the west, and Horton shares the same stretch of beach just east. A popular spot in summer, with the coast path climbing away over the point.
