St Illtyd’s stands on a wooded slope above Oxwich Bay, reached on foot through the trees from the beach and set apart from the village. There has been a place of worship on the spot since around the 6th century, and the present medieval church is small and low, close to the shore. A lovely short walk if you’re down at Oxwich; open to visitors.
