Macduff is a working fish town on the Moray Firth, facing Banff across the mouth of the Deveron. The harbour still lands catches, and Macduff Marine Aquarium on the seafront is a decent rainy-day stop, built around a big open-topped tank of local sea life. Banff is just over the bridge, so it’s easy to take in both. No station near — it’s a fair drive from the Aberdeen–Inverness line.
