Cullykhan Bay is a sheltered sandy cove near Pennan, tucked below a headland that carries the earthworks of Fort Fiddes, an Iron Age promontory fort. There’s a natural arch and a sea cave close by, and a steep path drops down from the road to the shingle and sand. Pennan, with its Local Hero phone box, and the gannet cliffs of Troup Head are both along the coast.
