Knott End-on-Sea is a quiet little resort at the mouth of the River Wyre, right at the end of the road on the north side of the estuary. A small passenger ferry shuttles across to Fleetwood, which is a fun way to arrive or a cheap round trip just for the view. There’s a golf course, a café or two and a breezy promenade walk. Poulton-le-Fylde station is about 9km to the south.
