Glasson Dock is a small working port where the Lancaster Canal drops down through a lock to meet the Lune estuary. There’s a marina full of boats, a smokehouse, and cafés looking out over the water, and it sits on both the coastal cycleway and the Lancashire Coastal Way. It’s a breezy, salty spot for a stroll and a bite to eat. Heysham Port, the nearest station, is about 6km to the north-west.
