Walking or cycling the Lune estuary path? The whitewashed Stork Inn at Conder Green is the obvious pause — right on the water, on the old railway track that runs down to Glasson Dock. There are rooms, real ale and estuary views to sit out with. Lancaster station is about 6km north.
