Down on the quay at Glasson Dock, the Port of Lancaster Smokehouse has been oak-smoking fish here for decades, and its shop is stacked with smoked salmon, kippers, cheese, meats and game. Grab a few things and walk them off along the Lune estuary path. It’s a scenic drive out beyond Lancaster; Glasson isn’t on the railway, so bring the car.
