St Chad’s stands at the heart of old Poulton-le-Fylde, just off the cobbled market place with its old stocks and whipping post. The nave was rebuilt in 1753 and the church keeps its Georgian box pews, while the tower is older, from the 1600s. It’s open to visitors, and Poulton-le-Fylde station is only a couple of minutes’ walk to the north-east.
