A genuinely working village rather than a showpiece — green at the centre, two pubs (one is The Hollow Bottom), a shop and a bakery, many of them kept going by a local trust that owns cottages and lets them to residents. Quiet, and off the main tourist run. Moreton-in-Marsh station is about 14km north-east.
