Coldingham grew up around its Benedictine priory, part of which still serves as the parish church. A short walk east brings you to Coldingham Bay, a sheltered curve of sand that’s a good bathing beach and popular with families. The clifftop village of St Abbs is just along the coast, and Reston station is about 5km away.
