The Allanton Inn is an 18th-century coaching inn in the Berwickshire village of Allanton, with a beer garden that looks out over open farmland. It makes a comfortable base for the quiet countryside where the Whiteadder and Blackadder waters meet, and does food and rooms. Reston, on the East Coast main line, is about 8km to the north.
