Duns is a quiet market town below Duns Law, the hill where the original settlement stood and where an Iron Age fort still crowns the top. Motor-racing fans come for the Jim Clark Motorsport Museum, which celebrates the local farmer who became a double Formula 1 world champion. There’s a public park in the town too. Reston station is about 12km to the north-east.
