The parish church at Coldingham is built into the surviving choir of a great Benedictine priory, founded under David I around 1139. It’s the only major medieval church in south-east Scotland still in use, and the grounds — with restored ruins and a monastic-style garden — are open to wander. Sunday services still run here.
