Coldingham Bay is a sheltered crescent of golden sand backed by a row of brightly painted beach huts, one of the best swimming and surfing spots on the Berwickshire coast. There’s a café above the beach and a clifftop path leading round to the little harbour village of St Abbs nearby. Reston station is about 5km inland.
