The Scottish Crannog Centre is an open-air museum of Iron Age life on Loch Tay near Kenmore, built around a full-size reconstruction of a crannog, the timber roundhouses that once stood on stilts out over the water. The original reconstruction burned down in 2021 and the centre has since moved to a new site on the loch and rebuilt, so check the current location and opening before you go. Paid entry.
