Weem is a tiny village tucked under a wooded crag, the Weem Rock, just across the Tay from Aberfeldy. Castle Menzies, a restored 16th-century Z-plan tower house and seat of the Clan Menzies, stands at the edge of the village and opens to visitors in season. A path climbs the rock past St David’s Well to a viewpoint over Strath Tay. Pitlochry is the nearest station, about 13km north-east.
