Bolfracks is a hillside garden on the slopes above the Tay a couple of miles west of Aberfeldy. Walled borders, a burn tumbling through, and masses of spring bulbs and rhododendrons give way to wide Highland views across the valley. It’s privately run and open for the season with an honesty-box or set charge, so it’s worth checking days before you go.
