The Fortingall Hotel is an arts-and-crafts village inn at the eastern mouth of Glen Lyon, a few steps from the churchyard that holds the Fortingall Yew, reckoned one of the oldest trees in Britain. It’s a comfortable pub with rooms and a bar, and makes a natural base for exploring the glen. The road up Glen Lyon from here is single-track and slow, so allow plenty of time.
