Surreal landslip of pinnacles and plateaus.
The Quiraing is the dramatic northern end of Skye’s Trotternish landslip, a jumble of pinnacles and crags below Meall na Suiramach. A well-trodden but exposed path loops past its named landmarks — the Needle, the Prison and the flat-topped Table. The going is rocky and drops away to steep ground, so it’s no place to be caught out in wind or mist. Come early; the small car park at the top fills fast.
