Ramshaw Rocks is the jagged gritstone ridge that rears up beside the Leek–Buxton road north of Tittesworth, its beds tilted almost on end into a row of leaning pinnacles. One of them, the Winking Man, has a hole that seems to open and close into a blinking eye as you drive past. It sits on open moorland alongside The Roaches and Hen Cloud, free to walk and popular with climbers, with a stiff scramble to the crest.
