Tittesworth Reservoir sits in the moorland folds below The Roaches, its shore giving one of the best low-level views up to that gritstone edge. A trail loops the water, there’s a visitor centre and café run by Severn Trent, and the reservoir supplies much of the Potteries with its drinking water. It’s an easy, popular spot for a family walk or a bit of birdwatching, free to visit with a car park on the northern side.
