Priest's Mill, Caldbeck
Local highlightPriest’s Mill is a watermill of 1702 that stands beside St Kentigern’s church in Caldbeck, built by the rector to grind the parish’s corn. Restored after years of neglect, it now houses small craft workshops and a riverside café, with the old machinery still in place. A pleasant, low-key stop, and handy for the short walk to the Howk, the limestone gorge just above the village.
