The Mill Inn sits beside the beck in Mungrisdale, a small village tucked under the eastern Skiddaw fells just off the A66. Parts of it go back to the 16th century, and it’s a quiet spot for bar meals and local ale after a round of the Mungrisdale or Bowscale fells. Rooms available, and a lovely out-of-the-way corner well clear of the Keswick crowds.
