Leith Hill Tower is the Gothic folly on the summit of Leith Hill, built in 1765 by Richard Hull of nearby Leith Hill Place so the hill would clear 1,000 feet. Standing on its roof platform reaches 1,029 feet, the highest you can get in south-east England. The National Trust opens it on set days for a fee. Holmwood station is about 4km away.
