Peaslake is a hill village set among the pine and heather of the Hurtwood, and one of the best-known mountain-biking centres in the South East, with waymarked trails spreading across the surrounding commons. The village shop is community-owned and stocks bike bits alongside the groceries. Gomshall station is about 3km north.
