The Eagle’s Nest is the highest lookout on the Monmouthshire bank of the Wye, set on the limestone cliffs above the Wynd Cliff near St Arvans. A long stone stairway climbs through the woods to a platform looking down on the river’s horseshoe bend, with the Severn beyond. Open access; Chepstow station is under 4km to the south.
