Roundway Down and Covert is a Site of Special Scientific Interest in Wiltshire, covering 0.84 km². It is one of 119 SSSIs in the county. It is among the largest in the county. It lies inside the North Wessex Downs National Landscape.

The nearest railway station is Melksham, about 9.2 km to the west. Other SSSIs nearby include King's Play Hill and Morgan's Hill.
