The opera singer Adelina Patti bought Craig-y-nos Castle in the upper Tawe valley and lived there until her death in 1919; her old grounds are now this free country park. Forty-odd acres of Victorian parkland, meadow and riverside woodland, with waymarked walks and a visitor centre. The show caves at Dan-yr-Ogof are just up the road.
