Ty’n-y-Groes is an old coaching inn at Ganllwyd, on the A470 north of Dolgellau at the edge of Coed y Brenin. Rooms and food make it a base for the forest’s mountain-bike trails and the waterfalls of the Mawddach and Gain nearby.
