A pair of small upland lakes held by the National Trust on the shoulder of Cadair Idris above the Mawddach, near Arthog. A steep single-track lane climbs to a car park, and the reward is a view down over Barmouth Bridge and the estuary. Open access on foot; the ground round the lakes can be boggy.
