Coed y Brenin is a forest park in the hills north of Dolgellau, best known for its purpose-built mountain-bike trails — among the earliest of their kind in Britain, with races run here from 1991. Graded routes range from family loops to technical singletrack, and there’s a visitor centre with a café plus walking and running trails. Free to enter, with parking charged.
