The Precipice Walk is a near-level circuit around the little hill of Foel Cynwch north of Dolgellau, crossing the Nannau estate by long-standing permission. For not much effort it opens a wide view down the Mawddach valley to Cadair Idris, with a lake to loop past on the way back. A signed car park sits at the start; allow a couple of hours.
