Handy for families, the Three Cups is an airy country pub at Stamford Bridge near York, with a big beer garden and Sunday roasts. It stands close to the Derwent at the site of the 1066 battle, a decent stop if you’re heading out east of the city. York Station is about 12km away to the west.
