One of York’s most unspoilt pubs, the Blue Bell is a tiny Edwardian survivor on Fossgate, its two little rooms lined with etched glass and wood panelling that have barely changed in a century. It’s drinks only and fills up fast, so squeeze in early for a pint. York Station is under a kilometre away to the west.
