The Star Inn is a thatched, Michelin-starred dining pub at Harome, and one of the fixtures of Yorkshire’s food scene. The old building sits low under its heavy thatch; the cooking is ambitious but rooted in local produce, and there are rooms across the lane. Book well ahead. Malton is the nearest station, roughly 18km away.
