The Silverdale Hotel is a family-run pub in the middle of Silverdale, a limestone-and-woodland AONB where Lancashire meets the edge of the Lakes. Good real ales, honest food and a handful of rooms make it a handy base for the coast paths out to Jenny Brown’s Point. Silverdale station is under 2km east.
