Jenny Brown's Point
Local highlightApproximate location — this spot is pinned to the nearest village, so the exact point may be a little way off.
Jenny Brown’s Point is a low limestone headland reaching out into Morecambe Bay below Silverdale, with a lone stone chimney left from old copper-smelting works. At low tide the sands stretch away for miles, but the bay is notoriously dangerous to walk without a guide, so keep to the shore path. It’s a lovely quiet corner for an evening stroll. Silverdale station is about 2km inland.
