Crammed with ships’ lanterns, brass and seafaring bric-a-brac, the Olde Ship Inn is a Seahouses institution overlooking the harbour where the Farne Islands boats tie up. It’s a gently old-fashioned place — grab a window seat for the comings and goings before or after a trip out to the islands. Chathill station is about 6km inland.
