Parts of the Old Bowling Green date back to 1472, which makes it one of the oldest pubs in Derbyshire. It’s a Grade II listed free house in Winster, a hill village with more than seventy listed buildings of its own, and keeps the old country-inn feel with real fires and cask ale. Matlock station is about 5km east.
